In an attempt to finally do something with the thousands of photos I’ve taken over the years on my travels abroad, I stumbled across an app on my phone called Waterlogue. It converts your photographs into a watercolor painting, allowing you to edit the style, saturation, and size of brush strokes. I was instantly in love! I have found that not all photos lend themselves to this edit, but travel, flowers, and detail photos seem to work wonderfully. I’ve been obsessively editing some of my favorite photographs and this has been such a fun artistic outlet when I feel the need to create & be inspired. I’m trying to find an artistic way to print but thought I’d share the digital versions in the meantime. Stay tuned for a weekly Wednesday Watercolor post as I share all the fun places I’ve visited here and abroad…and how I’m displaying them as art in my home.
