Alison + Nicolas
Alison + Nicolas booked me a short three weeks before their wedding on a referral from a couple of Alison’s co-workers…even though they have been together for 10+ years. I met the couple on the day of their wedding only moments before shooting. It was such an enjoyable day because they were so laid back and trusted my second shooter Rhea and I to do our thing. That is the best!
I loved all the bright details and it went so well with the style and architecture of the venue…The Old Grape Vine Arbor next to the San Gabriel Mission. It was my first time there and I loved it! As a Spanish speaker and teacher, I felt like I was in old Spain.
Alison + Nicolas opted for a first look before their ceremony…which I always love and recommend. Have you seen a better first look face on the groom? Classic!
One of the main reasons I love a first look so much is that is takes away the nerves of the couple early on in the day so they are able to relax and enjoy the rest of the day. Which makes all the difference in the world in their wedding photos! We captured the following photos before their ceremony and guests arrived…
Let the wedding festivities begin…the ceremony was complete with a mariachi band and bilingual priest.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
